Hide AI pins
on Pinterest.

Pinterest's own controls only nudge what gets recommended. PureFeed removes pins Pinterest labels as AI the moment they load, and folds away AI-art spam with prompt-style titles - so your boards fill with things people made.

Pins Pinterest labels as AI

Scored

AI-art spam

Unlabelled pins whose titles read like generation prompts - stacked style keywords, "hyper-realistic 8k" - are scored and hidden above your strength.

  • Prompt-style titles
  • Mass-produced "aesthetic" boards
  • Image-only pins are left alone

Pinterest's setting vs PureFeed

Use both. They do different jobs.

Pinterest's AI controls work on its servers: tell it you want fewer AI pins in a category and, over time, it recommends fewer. That's worth switching on, but it's a nudge, not a filter, and it only applies where Pinterest offers it.

PureFeed works in your browser on what actually reaches the screen. It honours Pinterest's own AI labels, catches the spam that isn't labelled, and tells you why each pin was hidden.

FAQ

Common questions

Can you turn off AI pins on Pinterest?
Partly. Pinterest labels some AI-made pins and lets you see fewer AI pins in certain categories through its recommendation settings. That changes what gets recommended over time, but labelled pins and unlabelled AI art can still appear. PureFeed hides them as they load.
How does PureFeed know a pin is AI?
Two ways. If Pinterest has labelled the pin as AI, PureFeed hides it straight away - no scoring and no daily limit. Otherwise it scores the pin's title and description for the prompt-style wording AI-art spam tends to use.
Will it hide real photos and artwork?
It shouldn't. Pins with only an image and no meaningful text are not scored, so they're only hidden if Pinterest has labelled them as AI. Anything hidden can be shown with one click.
Should I still use Pinterest's own setting?
Yes - it shapes recommendations on Pinterest's side, which an extension can't do. The two work well together.
Is it free?
Yes. Hiding pins Pinterest labels as AI is unlimited on the free plan. Scoring unlabelled pins counts toward the free 500 posts a day; Pro removes that limit.
