AI slop blocker for Chrome

Block AI slop on
every feed you use.

PureFeed scores each post as it loads and folds away the ones that read like a chatbot wrote them - plus pins and videos the platform labels as AI, and the AI answer boxes on Google and Bing. One click brings anything back.

What counts as slop

Three kinds of AI junk, handled three ways

AI-written posts

Templated lessons, empty thought leadership, generic hooks. Each post gets a Likely AI score and anything over your strength folds away.

  • "I'm thrilled to share 7 lessons..."
  • Listicles that say nothing
  • Engagement posts ending in "Agree?"

Labelled AI images and video

When Pinterest or YouTube labels something as AI-made, PureFeed hides it straight away - no scoring and no daily limit.

  • Pins labelled as AI
  • Videos labelled altered or synthetic
  • AI-art spam with prompt-style titles

AI answer boxes

Google AI Overviews, the AI Mode button and Bing Copilot answers are removed by rules inside the page. Nothing is sent anywhere.

  • Google AI Overview
  • Google AI Mode
  • Bing Copilot answers

How it decides

A score you can see, a line you control

Every hidden post leaves a slim bar that says why - for example "Likely AI 92". Click it to read the post anyway. Pick Light, Balanced or Strict to move the line; Balanced is the default and errs on the side of showing you a post.

Only the public text of a post is scored, and results are cached by a fingerprint of the content so the same post isn't scored twice. No messages, no passwords and no browsing history are read.

FAQ

Common questions

What is AI slop?
Low-effort content made with AI and published at volume: templated LinkedIn lessons, generic engagement posts, AI-art spam on Pinterest, synthetic videos, and AI answer boxes that sit on top of search results. It isn't any one topic - it's a style that wastes your attention.
Can software tell for sure that a post was written by AI?
No, and PureFeed doesn't claim to. It gives each post a Likely AI score based on the patterns AI writing leaves, and hides posts above the strength you choose. It is tuned to let some slop through rather than hide a real person's post, and every hidden post can be shown with one click.
Will it hide posts from people who used AI to fix their grammar?
Usually not. Light editing doesn't produce the templated structure and filler that the score looks for. If a post you wanted was hidden, click Show and mark it as a wrong call - PureFeed adjusts.
Does PureFeed block AI-generated images?
It hides pins and videos the platform itself labels as AI (Pinterest's AI label, YouTube's altered or synthetic label), and AI-art posts whose titles read like generation prompts. It doesn't analyse the pixels of an image.
Is the AI slop blocker free?
Yes. The free plan works on every supported site: platform-labelled AI content and search AI boxes are hidden with no limit, and 500 posts a day are scored for AI slop, ragebait and negativity. Pro removes the daily limit and adds Strict mode.
Does it also hide ragebait and negativity?
Yes. AI slop and negativity are separate switches with their own strength. Many people run both: the AI filter for LinkedIn and Pinterest, the negativity filter for X and Reddit.
